The trout have continued to do well and the redfish bite is picking up by the day inshore. They are eating everything you throw in front of them. I have been liking the pre rigged gold flake zman shrimp under a popping cork. As the temperature drops the fishing will slow but the quality of trout should improve which we’ve already seen as our twenty plus inch trout are becoming more regular.
The bull reds have showed up on the reefs with 53 being caught and safely released this past Sunday. There are still some kings around and the seabass are getting bigger by the day. Look for the sheepshead and black drum showing up and improving as the water temperature drops. The time of the year for the meat hunter is quickly approaching. I hope everyone has a great week.
